Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Shahbaz Sharif has made the announcement regarding their Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel scheme. The federal government increased the prices of the petroleum
products in the country and the petroleum products reached to their
highest ever level. The Finance Minister, Miftah Ismail explained the
process to avail the Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel package 2022 and
the people need to send their SMS with CNIC No to 786. The people
applied on this number but there is No Response From 786 on Sasta Petrol
Sasta Diesel Scheme.
The people applied for this Sasta Petrol
Sasta Diesel program by sending their CNIC number through SMS to 786
and they got no response on this number. The government opened their
online registration for Petrol Subsidy program few days back and the
government announcement the rise in petroleum prices in Pakistan for
Rs.30 per liter.
The Finance Minister, Miftah
Ismail said that the response on the SMS will take two or three days and
after that the people, who sent their CNIC to 786, they will be
information about their eligibility. Now people should wait for two or
three days after sending their CNIC to 786. Under the provision of Sasta
Petrol Sasta Diesel scheme 2022, the government will provide the
subsidy of Rs. 2000 to household to such people, whose income is less
than Rs. 40,000 through Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). According
to the Finance Minister, the people, who are availing the BISP, they
will automatically get the Rs.2000 under this initiative and the people,
who are not part of BISP, they will apply by sending their CNIC No. to
786.
It is also mentioned that only women
should apply for this subsidy and the only female should send their CNIC
for Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel program and this scheme will support to
women, who is the head of the household and they have income less than
Rs.40,000. The subsidy amount was equal to five percent of these
families’ total income as stated by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
It
is noteworthy that Federal Government increased the prices of petroleum
products by another Rs.30 per liter and they have increased total Rs.60
per liter in a week, after announcing Fuel Subsidy Program. Now the new
petrol price is Rs.209.86 per liter and the High-Speed Diesel (HSD) is
available in the petrol pumps at Rs.204.15 per liter.
